義安茶莊

2009年,紫印勐海出品 7342H 七子熟餅 - 普洱茶

$ 240 HKD

Steeping - Puerh Tea

General Guide to brewing Pu-erh Tea

Steep Pu-erh tea in hot boiling water. The ratio of tea leaves to water is approximately 1:4 to 1:5. or 8 grams of tea to 125 ml. of water.

First steep for 5 to 10 sec and discard the water to clean and heat the tea leaves. Steep for 20 seconds, and lengthen the time for each subsequent infusion.

The number of infusion can range from 10 to 20 times.

Excellent

really good, affordable enough to drink everyday and great for anyone just getting into traditional storage

Very enjoyable

Despite rarely drinking shou, I bought a cake due to positive reviews and because I generally like the storage of Yee On's sheng puerh.

To my surprise, I love this tea: it really does have the smoothness of shou while retaining some complexity and higher notes I'd normally associate with sheng, with a particular dank sweetness. I ordered 3 more cakes of this and have branched out into trying other Yee On shous, though this one so far remains my favorite. At this price, especially, it's very much worth trying.

Great value

For its price range, it’s hard to find much better shu cha. Great daily drinker.

Raw or ripe, that is the question.

Obviously ripe however this is the tea to drink when you can't decide on Raw or ripe! The undercurrent of a raw with the comfort and evolved round smoothness of a ripe.
Very enjoyable and is a successful attempt at expressing its intent.
Certainly the next tea you should blind buy.
